Its Frio Time...The Float is Awesome!!!

As of right now floating conditions are excellent. We are only renting to and and suggesting 12 years old and up float the river today. The float time is 2.5hrs from 7bluff to Neal's Crossing. The lines are going to build quickly if the rains hold off. Rent online to save some TIME.

Conditions are subject to change at any time.

Hello we are planning on heading there on Monday - taking an ice chest , what are the regulations on alcohol ? No bottles ?

Hi JenRay. You've got it figured out. No bottles or Styrofoam in the the river. Other than that just keep all your empties and make sure the make in a proper trashcan. Thanks! Look forward to seeing you guys.

How is the water now. Can a 10 year old float it next week? Can you please explain how this works as it is new for us like how long the float last on the average what we need to bring and if its a short float can we go twice?

Hi Patti. The river is in excellent condition. There are natural obstacles and characteristics of the river that can make it dangerous for anyone of any age. We do not currently have any age restrictions, but we ask that everyone interested in floating then Frio use their own judgment. Ask as many questions as necessary to make yourself comfortable. You will need to bring sunscreen, water, and possibly snacks. The float time vary, but with young person and a group of first time floaters, I suggest you start with the upper section from 7 bluff to Frio Country. It will be approximately 2 to 2.5 hrs unless conditions change. Please feel free to call us at the store 830-232-5444. We look forward to seeing you.

Hello,we are heading tht way this coming weekend cant wait. Just wanted to knw how does the shuttle work? When we wnt a break do we jst ask for a ride back to campsite.. Wht abt tube rental are thy a one time rental for 3 days or hav to rent one everytime/every new day? Thank you so much.

Hi S Vasquez. The shuttle and tube rental work on a daily basis as a one time trip. We take you to the river and bring you back to the store here at Andy's. If you don't need shuttle services, you may rent a tube for multiple days and take it with you. Then just bring it back when it is due.
